Former Cheshire resident Harry Styles has been announced as the upcoming headliner of one of the world’s most iconic festivals.
Coachella takes place in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert of California. Up to 99,000 people have reportedly taken part in it every day in the past.
The 2019 festival featured headliners like Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande. While the 2020 event was initially postponed but ultimately canceled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

This year’s festival will take place from April 15th to 17th and from April 22nd to 24th.
As of now, Harry’s official website does not list any other tour dates in 2022, having completed his last extended tour in 2021.
In an emotional series of tweets about his tour last year, Harry Styles (@Harry_Styles) said, “Thank you for 42 special nights. It has been my privilege to play for you over the past few months. My heartfelt thanks to the band, crew and everyone working on this tour.”
“The energy you put into this has left me completely overwhelmed with joy.”
Despite splitting most of his time between London, New York and LA, Harry has never quite forgotten his Cheshire roots.
He occasionally returns to the county – he’s usually spotted at his ‘favorite’ Chinese restaurant in Holmes Chapel, where he’s taken on famous names like Taylor Swift in the past.
