The 2021 season for BisMan pools is drawing to a close.
I don’t know how many times I can say that and still be shocked every time, but SUMMER IS GOING TO END QUICKLY. The Bismarck Larks are ending their baseball season in 2021, the temperatures are no longer at a nearly constant 100 degrees and the BisMan outdoor water parks are entering their last week of operation for the season.
Time is running out to enjoy the summer in one of the many outdoor pools in Bismarck-Mandan. Hillside and Wachter Pools close at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13th. Raging Rivers closes at 5:00 p.m. on August 22nd and The Elks Pool closes at 6:00 p.m. on the same day. And there are some fun events going on before the pools close for the season!
Wachter Pool is holding a “Pool Pooch Party” on August 14th.
Now the Wachterbad is closed to people after today, but only open to dogs for one day longer! The Bisparks website says the chemicals will be turned off and there will be specific swimming times for dogs small and large! So bring the family and puppies for a fun afternoon to the Pool Pooch Party on Saturday, August 14th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Raging Rivers is hosting an “All Kids Swim Day” on August 17th.
Then next week, Raging Rivers will host an inclusive event for children of all abilities. It was posted on the Raging Rivers Facebook page that an “All Kids Swim Day” will take place in the last week of the opening for 2021. It is a swimming event that is open to children with special needs or with disabilities. The “All Kids Swim Day” takes place on Tuesday, August 17th, from 10:00 to 11:30.
