It is now compulsory to wear a mask for all Royal Caribbean guests aged two and over, regardless of their vaccination status, unless they eat or drink.

The policy will be reviewed on January 5, 2022.

Previously, face-covering was required for all guests, but there were designated areas and places for vaccinated guests to remove their masks.

The cruise line’s website states, “We are constantly evaluating mask guidelines as public health standards and government regulations evolve. Booked guests will be informed of the latest requirements for their port of departure before departure. “
