The Rochester Cocktail Revival, a celebration of craft beverages, will be held for the eighth year of the year from August 30th to September 5th.
After a distilled version in 2020, this year’s festival will return to a full calendar of events; Over 90 took place in 2019.
Participating bars are: Good Luck, Cure, The Revelry, Ox & Stone, The Owl House, The Playhouse, The Daily Refresher, Bitter Honey, Branca Midtown, Swan Dive, Locals Only, Radio Social, Bar Bantam, Lento, The Cub Room , Cheshire, Roux, Nox, Tapas, Vern’s, Lucky’s, The Richmond, Velvet Belly and Redd.
Tickets to highlight events, including a garden party at the George Eastman Museum, the Bar Room Battle Royale, and educational seminars, will go on sale July 1st. A full calendar will be posted online in August.
“The cocktail culture in our city is thriving again and the nightlife is an indelible contributor to the local economy,” said Chuck Cerankosky, director of the Rochester Cocktail Revival. “The resilience of Rochester’s cocktail bars is only matched by the desire of citizens to patronize them – Rochester is ready for a drink.”
A portion of the proceeds will go to Gilda’s Club Rochester, a member of the Cancer Support Community that provides free assistance to men, women, teenagers and children affected by cancer. Since 2014, the event has raised more than $ 90,000 for Gilda’s Club.
